The first picture from Bay View 2000 WOH. Kim and
Lorraine putting the finishing touches on their music Sunday night at the
cottage. They were amply rewarded with batch of S'mores fresh off the fire
pit by the lake.
The waterfall from the Artesian well that feeds the trout pond at the cottage on
Oden Island where Kim and Lorraine stayed.
The following pics are from Monday:
A view of the BBBBB pit, featuring the new C1 here in the foreground.
Barb Silvey with the C1 and Stevie with the C9. Yikes!
Stevie and Lorraine peering over the folder in the front row.
Sara Washington pauses from marking music.
Tuesday's pics:
Kim and Gary (fellow CCR ringer) do a "high-five" after a good Euchre
hand on Monday night.
The Queen and the Bell Goddess in action in the front row.
Scooter, a.k.a. Arthur Fujitzu, snaps a digital pic with Rusty & Laurie's
camera. Trust me folks, there are more photos coming soon...
Wednesday's pics:
Wednesday afternoon free time allowed for a boat ride out on Crooked Lake.
A beautiful day, as you can see.
Going through the river from Crooked Lake into Pickerel Lake. Ahhhh...
Cathy Moklebust arrived in the afternoon. She wanted to be present for the world
premiere performance of her award-winning composition, "Five
Inscriptions." This awesome piece was selected as the winner of the
Donald E. Allured Original Coomposition Award for the Bay View Week of Handbells
2000.
This is the couple, David and Oona Caldwell, from Bayswater, New Zealand.
Darth Paul with the F#1 and F#2...
Not to be outdone, Kim had to try it, too. But I think Paul gets more
style points.
Thursday's Pics:
Maestro Don arriving for the concert.
Don and Carl pose with a copy of "The Creation" before the concert.
It took a while before I got a smubble pic, but it was worth the wait as
everyone is looking very dapper before the concert.
The ringers getting line up before entering the auditorium.
Stephanie and Lorraine looking completely relaxed and happy.
Smubble group, including Doug Benton and Cathy Moklebust, after the concert.
Gary Masters, Kim & Lorraine's host where they stayed for the week on Oden
Island, holds the largest playable handbell in the world, the mighty C1.
Friday's Pics:
Scooter and Sara converse Friday morning after the reading session.
Scooter and Sara look on as the goodbye's and hugs take place.
:-(
I'll add some photos taken with my 35mm camera as soon as they get developed. So check back soon!
